Dipper ("we", "us") explains here what data is processed when you use the app, how that data is used, and what controls you have.

What we collect

• Audio recordings you save in the app. When you create a note, audio is uploaded securely so we can transcribe it, summarize it, and let you play it back later.
• Transcripts, summaries, key points, action items, and embeddings generated from your notes so features like search and chat can work.
• Account data such as your email address (if you register with email), app language, and subscription status.
• Product analytics through PostHog. We use this for feature usage and app quality, not for storing note content.
• Crash reports through Sentry to diagnose bugs and stability issues.

What we do with your data

We use your data to:

• create and display your notes,
• process transcription and summarization,
• support playback, search, folders, tasks, calendar browsing, and chat,
• keep subscriptions in sync,
• improve reliability and prevent abuse.

What we don't do

• We do not train AI models on your notes.
• We do not sell your data.
• We do not share your note content with advertisers.
• We do not make your notes public.

Your controls

• Delete a note in the app to remove the note row plus its associated transcript, summary, embeddings, and stored audio.
• Manage your subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on where you purchased it.
• Contact us if you need help with privacy requests or account-related questions.
